Over the course of three days, you will traverse diverse landscapes, engage in thrilling safaris, cruise along the Victoria Nile, and forge connections with the rich biodiversity that calls Murchison Falls home. Get ready for an unforgettable exploration that seamlessly weaves the tapestry of Uganda’s natural beauty and wildlife wonders.

  • Day 1. Transfer to Murchison falls national Park

    • After your early morning breakfast, the driver will pick you up to begin your journey at about 7:00 am.
    • You will use the Kampala-Masindi route, branching off in Nakasongola to Ziwa Rhino sanctuary where you will track the most endangered animal species, the white rhinos.

    • After lunch, embark on your journey to Murchison falls
    • Upon your arrival check in at Sambiya Lodge
    • Get some refreshments as you wait for your evening game drive as you will be able towitness a stunning sunset over the park, creating a picturesque backdrop for your safariadventure.
    • Encounter nocturnal animals on your way to the lodge like lions, leopards, hyenas, and owls, guided by spotlights for better visibility.
    • Get back to the lodge and have dinner.
    • Overnight stay.
  • Day 2. Game drive and top of the falls

    • You will wake up very early and set off at 6.30am for a sunrise game drive.
    • You can possibly see Cape buffaloes, Rothschild’s giraffes, Uganda kob, hartebeest and waterbucks.
    • You may also spot oribi, warthog and bush pig. Large carnivores including lions, leopards and spotted hyenas like to make an appearance, too.
    • Some of the more common birds that can be seen include goliath heron, Egyptian geese, bee-eaters, kingfishers, hornbill, cormorant, saddle-bill stork and the rare shoebill stork.
    • Have lunch at the lodge
    • Visit the top of the Falls
    • Get back to the lodge for dinner

  • Day 3. Boat cruise and white water rafting

    • After breakfast and some relaxation before setting off in the afternoon for a boat cruise on the placid Victoria Nile, upstream, to the base of the falls to watch Crocodiles and hippos will be seen along.
    • The boat stops just feet from the “Devil’s Cauldron” for pictures to be taken.
    • You will return to your lodge for dinner and relaxation

  • Day 4. Transfer back to Kampala

    • Wake up early and prepare for your journey back to Kampala
    • Buckle your memories as you sit back and recall through your safari and enjoy your ride back to Kampala.
    • Proceed to Kampala after your memorable experience with stories to share
