Day 2:Morning on foot rhino tracking & transfer to Murchison falls national park via top of falls
Start the day with an exciting on-foot rhino tracking experience at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, getting up close to Uganda’s endangered white rhinos in their natural habitat. Continue your safari journey to Murchison Falls National Park with a stop at the spectacular Top of Murchison Falls, where the Nile explodes through a narrow gorge in a powerful display. After an early breakfast, you will drive to the top of the magnificent Murchison Falls for breathtaking views of the powerful Nile River squeezing through a narrow gorge before crashing down with incredible force. This is one of Uganda’s most iconic safari attractions and a perfect spot for photography and sightseeing. After enjoying the beauty of the falls, you will begin a scenic transfer to Kibale National Park, home to lush tropical forests and famous chimpanzee trekking experiences. The journey is long but incredibly rewarding, taking you through traditional villages, rolling hills, vibrant green countryside, and endless tea plantations that define western Uganda’s landscape. After breakfast, you will leave for Queen Elizabeth national park. The drive will reward you with great views of Rwenzori mountain ranges as well as game viewing. You will have lunch at the booked lodge. In the afternoon, you will have a boat cruise on kazinga channel for 2 hours. This will take you past very large populations of Hippos and several other animals drinking water.

Day 6: Morning game drive and afternoon boat safari on kazinga channel
Begin your day with an early morning game drive in Queen Elizabeth National Park after breakfast, one of Uganda’s top safari destinations known for its rich wildlife and scenic savannah landscapes. Explore the Kasenyi and Queen’s Plains, famous for excellent game viewing opportunities. Look out for elephants, lions, buffaloes, Uganda kobs, waterbucks, warthogs, and other antelope species, along with a variety of colorful birdlife that thrives in the park. The drive offers stunning views as you head toward the shores of Lake George, with great photo stops along the way. After the game drive, return to the lodge for lunch and relaxation. The drive offers beautiful views of the countryside and wildlife along the way. Upon arrival, you will embark on an evening game drive in search of elephants, buffaloes, antelopes, and the iconic tree-climbing lions resting in fig and acacia trees. As the sun begins to set over the plains, you will enjoy a relaxing sundowner experience, taking in the golden African sunset in one of Uganda’s most picturesque safari settings before heading to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

After an early breakfast, you will head to the ranger station for a detailed briefing by experienced park guides about gorilla trekking rules, safety, and conservation efforts. You will then begin your trek through the dense tropical rainforest, navigating steep trails, valleys, and thick vegetation in search of a habituated gorilla family. The duration of the trek varies depending on the movement of the gorillas, making the experience even more adventurous and exciting. Once the gorillas are located, you will spend one hour observing these gentle endangered giants in their natural habitat as they feed, groom, play, and interact.
